The Council wishes to establish a single provider Contract for the provision of Independent Domestic Abuse Support Services.
The Bath and North East Somerset Independent Domestic Abuse Support Service delivers high quality support and interventions for any victim experiencing domestic abuse over the age of 16 years. Support will be offered to victims as early as possible and will be prioritised based on the level of risk to each victim.
The service will aim to get the right balance between providing services for people at high risk of serious harm or fatal injury, and services that can offer support at an early stage (to people assessed as being at medium and standard risk of serious harm) to prevent a situation becoming worse.
