Finance Operations provides a transactional direct payment card service for Departments within LCC, Health and one other Local Authority. Within Adults & Communities, a direct payment allows the service user choice and control to procure their own Care Provider or Personal Assistant. It is essential that Leicestershire County Council continue to provide a critical direct payment service, with minimum disruption to the service users, Finance Operations/other departments and Local Authorities.
