Fire Doors Replacement, Roof Void and Fire Stopping Works at Peter Fagan House, Hayes - P16

This project is to tender a contract to undertake the supply and installation of Fire Door Replacement, Roof Void and Fire Stopping works at Peter Fagan House, Hayes, Phase 16.

Fire Door Replacement

The proposed works include for the replacement of the existing doors with fire doors that are fully compliant with British Standards and supported by test data and certification from an independent and suitably accredited organisation. This will safeguard the residents by ensuring that, in the event of a fire breaking out within the building, the door sets will delay the spread of fire and smoke for the minimum time as specified within this specification.

Roof Void and Fire Stopping Works

The undertaking of this specific service ducts / roof space works to provide protection from fire and smoke afforded by the respective horizontal and vertical compartmentation lines between:

• Remedial work within the roof space.
• Replacement roof void doorsets
• Remedial works within service ducts risers
• Service penetration from corridors to fire break barriers above entrance doors
• All works compliant with Approved Document B

GLOBALLY ASSESSED PRODUCTS WILL BE EXCLUDED

TEST EVIDENCE AND CERTIFICATION FOR FIRE AND SMOKE MUST BE PROVIDED.
