Provider Event - North Northamptonshire Council - Integrated Sexual Health Services

North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) are pleased to advise we will be going out to tender for a new Integrated Sexual Health Services (sexual and reproductive health) for North Northamptonshire.

This will be an overarching approach to delivering a comprehensive offer of Level 1, 2 & 3 prevention, testing, treatment and management services for:

• Sexually transmitted infections (STIs); blood borne viruses (BBV)

• HIV prevention, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP)

• Chlamydia screening programme for 15-24-year-olds and older adults

• Full range of contraceptive provisions, including Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) and Emergency Hormonal Contraception (to be delivered by Provider/or subcontracted by Provider or Local Authority) and condom distribution (c-card)

• Health promotion and prevention activities

• Outreach Service

• Young people's specific services

The event will be an opportunity for you to:

• Discuss and understand the priorities, visions and strategies ;

• Understand the expected approaches to awarding contracts for these services;

• Provide NNC Commissioners with feedback to shape their requirements before we commence the procurement processes.

The sessions will be identical virtual events (on MS Teams), led by NNC Commissioning and NNC Procurement colleagues, to explore service redesign options and discuss the tender processes. These events will be held on:

Wednesday 5th June 2024 10.00am to 12.00 noon

Thursday 6th June 2024 2.00pm to 4.00pm

There will be an opportunity for potential providers to ask questions at the end of each session.
