T0469 National Enforcement Coordinator (NEC) - Specialist Support

The objectives of the proposed contract are to provide single source services not available in house in order to meet our Nationally agreed obligations to key government agencies and enforcement partners with whom we work. These are best summarised as:

• To provide confidence to ORR, Government and strategic partners that all areas of enforcement systems are independently tested and appropriate and wholly accurate up to date advice given in order for us to brief our Board and the Minister
• to support road traffic enforcement on the SRN, resulting in improved driver compliance with road traffic law, improved road safety and enhanced customer satisfaction on the SRN;
• to provide assurance to National Highways, enforcement authorities (EAs), the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and Her Majesty's Court and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) that the outputs from road traffic enforcement equipment are credible and may be relied upon in a court of law; and
• to assist National Highways in delivering its role in road traffic enforcement as cost effectively and as efficiently as possible, and with continual improvement
