Kirklees Council requires the services of suitably qualified and competent Domestic Energy Assessor to survey and produce Energy Performance Certification in line with accepted standards to empty homes.
Where a property becomes vacant, and the current EPC has expired or is due to expire within 12 months, a new assessment and Energy Performance Assessment will be done and the a new Energy Performance Certificate produced pior to the property being let to a new customer.
