Replacement of Rotary Kiln for Incinerator Site at DSTL Porton Down

The incinerator facility at Dstl Porton Down operates a rotary kiln which is now approaching the end of its useful life and Dstl are seeking proposals to replace the kiln and its supporting structure with a like-for-like replacement.

Additional information:

a. Only UK based and registered contractors are eligible to tender for this requirement. Any on-site visits/work must only be undertaken by UK Nationals.

b. The manufacture and commissioning of the Rotary Kiln, should be sourced within the UK from UK registered suppliers, however DSTL may, with prior agreement, consider product sourcing from outside of the UK but only from countries within the European Union. All bidders are to confirm to whom they intend to subcontract work where applicable.

c. Dstl reserves its rights to have full visibility of any proposed supply chain and the right, at Dstl's sole discretion, to reject any element(s) of the supply chain.
