Membership of the ITSO organisation and purchase of hardware and associated software services. ITSO is the body that governs the smart ticketing hardware and software environment that underpins the statutory English National Concessionary Travel Scheme
(ENCTS). It is mandatory to be members of ITSO in order to provide an ENCTS scheme, the ENCTS scheme is a mandatory function performed by NCC on behalf of the DfT.
