Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Testing Stations

West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is seeking to establish an approved supplier list of experienced and qualified contractors to provide MOT and Certificate of Compliance testing for licensed Taxi and Private Hire Vehicles. Contractors must carry out vehicle testing in accordance with the WNC Taxi and Private Hire Policy and conduct MOT tests in compliance with the standards set by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).

All testing must be conducted at the contractor's approved Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) within the West Northamptonshire area. To ensure adequate coverage across both rural and urban locations, WNC is inviting applications from DVSA-approved MOT testing stations situated in different geographical areas of the Council's jurisdiction.
