The appointed contractor will be responsible for undertaking a full refurbishment of the Great North House building with a specific focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

The project is being carried out within an occupied building and will be phased to carry out the works on a floor by basis. The existing services to the occupied areas will need to be maintained to ensure the building can remain in use.
The University intend to adopt a soft landings process and intends to engage the Estates and Facilities team with design, review and commissioning process.
