It is proposed to organise a one-off programme of anti-racism training initially for 600 staff in Lambeth's Resident Services Directorate. This will take the form of a half day training course for non-managerial staff and a one day course for staff with line management responsibilities.
This is in order to implement the Resident Services Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) plan in compliance with the Council's public sector equality duty under section 149 of the Equality Act 2010.
The Council does not at present have the resources to deliver this training in-house and it is therefore looking for a provider to deliver this service.
