Rochdale and Stockport Councils are tendering for the delivery of Bikeability combined Level 1 / 2 training.
The scheme requires delivery of training for the period 1st April 2020 to 31 March 2023. Grant fundingfor 2020/2021 has been confirmed by the DfT. Funding for 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 is subject to DfTannouncements.
For Level 1 training it is preferable for there to be at least two Instructors. However, given that Level 1 takesplace on school premises discretion applies and as long as the training ratio is observed a single Instructor maytake a Level 1 session.
For all Level 2 training there must be a minimum of two Instructors per course. For safeguarding and health &safety reasons no Instructor is to take a course alone.
