Oxford City Council needs to recommission its engagement and assessment service for a period of eight months prior to the wider countywide recommissioning of homelessness services which will incorporate this service.
The Service incorporates established services to support rough sleepers, as well as new services that were established in response to the Covid19 pandemic. Both functions are designed to better meet the needs of single homeless people and to deliver on Oxford City Council's ambition to ensure that nobody should have to sleep rough in Oxford. The Service is expected to play a major role in preventing and relieving rough sleeping and single homelessness.
