The Secretary of State for Defence (the "Authority") intends to enter into a Contract with ESUK Aerospace and Simulation Limited for the provision of a spares and repairs service to the existing Helmet Mounted Display Equipment in support to the Puma Platform. The contract value is below the DSPCR threshold and has a duration of less than two years.
It is considered that this Contract can be placed as Single Source in accordance with Regulation 16 (1)(a)(io) Technical Reasons or Exclusive Rights due to the interoperability within the UK MOD's software and safety critical data provided as part of the software interface.
