Cambridgeshire County Council invites quotations for the provision of Supply & installation of Rising bollards (two) with anti-terrorism ability with signal & access card cabinet at St Johns Street, Cambridge. The bollard is required to stop a 7500kg - 30,000kg vehicle at a speed of between 30 - 50mph. To include a signal cabinet with the associated electrics & access card system. To also provide the ability that an authorised officer at Cambridgeshire County Council can lower the bollard with manual switches or other means within the signal cabinet. Arrangements for maintenance in a timely manner if the bollard & associated mechanics malfunction. The supply and installation, and subsequent maintenance contract will run for a period of 3 years from the date of the commencement of [services/supply of goods]. The supply and installation is to be completed by 21st October 2022, and the provider will be required to provide all required service and maintenance for a period of 3 years.
