It is envisaged that the proposed ground investigation will comprise the following works:
ï¡Cable percussive boreholes
ï¡Trial pits
ï¡Cone Penetration Tests (CPTu) with excess pore water pressure measurement.
ï¡Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Tests using TRL probe
ï¡In-situ soakaway testing
ï¡Installation of both single and dual groundwater installations
ï¡Variable head tests
ï¡Groundwater monitoring and sampling after completion of the site works
ï¡Geotechnical laboratory testing on selected samples.
ï¡Environmental/Chemical laboratory testing on selected samples.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
