BT1645 Adaptions for Council Owned property 1 Albion Court

Luton Borough Council is looking to engage qualified organisations to adapt a council Owned property the scope of the works consists of:-

• Supply and install ceiling track hoist to the front and bedrooms.
• Level threshold rear access patio door.

Before the start of works the contractor must have an emergency evacuation plan in place including an assembly area and named person or persons that will have responsibility for ensuring the safe evacuation of all persons within the property including the tenants. As different contractors fill the Principal Contractor role this responsibility will move to different people. However when 2 contractors are on site at the same time it must be agreed that 1 person has this overall responsibility. All persons must evacuate when the responsible person believes this course of action is necessary.
