Lancashire County Council (LCC) wishes to procure services for the acceptance and recycling of mixed inert waste arising from waste facilities (fifteen Household Waste Recycling Centres and one Transfer Station) located in the administrative county of Lancashire. These services are being procured on the basis of six area lots.
Additional information: These services are being procured through six area lots. Lots 1 to 5 are based on LCC and/or its transport contractor delivering the mixed inert waste to the successful tenderer's Facility. Lots 6 is based on the successful tenderer collecting the mixed inert waste from LCC's Waste Facility. Any contracts awarded will expire on the 31 March 2023. LCC will then have the option to extend these contracts for a further period of up to 12 months (the "First Contract Extension"); and, if so extended, LCC will then have the further option to extend these contracts for an additional period of up to 12 months (the "Second Contract Extension").
