Southampton City Council is intending to commission play and youth services in the city.
The approach has been developed following market consultation meetings held in 2017 and 2018 and discussions with the Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The council and CCG aim to jointly procure services that will improve play and youth opportunities for children and young people in Southampton.
It is intended to publish the tender for this procurement later this year, at the end of the summer. In the meantime, interested providers are invited to attend a meeting on Tuesday 14 May 2018 at 2:30pm to hear an update on the progress towards procurement, the proposed timetable and have the opportunity to ask questions.
