Dover Harbour Board intends to establish the Specialist Design Support Framework, comprised of a pool of consultants based around the following disciplines:
⢠Civils Design
⢠Maritime Design
⢠Specialist Mechanical Design
⢠Structural Design
Requirements will include ad-hoc assessments, reactive design services and discreet, specialist design packages. Applicants in the pool may cover one or more of the above disciplines.
The tender will be issued and administered through Dover Harbour Board's procurement platform. Suppliers are able to apply to enrol on the platform here: https://www.portofdover.com/corporate/suppliers-prospective-suppliers/
This tender will follow a Competitive Flexible Procedure, inclusive of an initial Selection Stage to limit the number of suitably capable applicants to proceed to the next stages of the tender process. This framework will be structured as an Open Framework.
The evaluation of tenders is to be undertaken on the basis of a technical and commercial analysis. It is currently anticipated that this will be on a 70/30 weighting respectively.
The aim is to issue the tender notice in early June 2025, with an appointment of framework partners for commencement in early December 2025. The conditions of contract will be the NEC4 Framework Contract.
