The purpose of this commission is to carry out inspection surveys at Cumbria School properties to ascertain and record the following information:\r
⢠Do the buildings contain roof structures that have been constructed using Reinforced Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (RAAC) planks? *\r
⢠Where RAAC planks are identified, the Council requires the detail of the locations (detailed and marked on a site plan) as well as a synopsis of the current condition, and high-level proposal of how they be managed in the future.\r
*Where the roof structure is not immediately visible on the first visit, the consultant will be required to provide the necessary temporary access equipment and a contractor, if required to 'open up' areas of ceilings within the properties to facilitate the inspection.
