The Contracting Authority have identified a requirement for additional 10Gbps on existing links to support the agreed design required to support VMware NSX as part of the Data Centre resilience and segmentation project which is prioritized as part of the Digital Services infrastructure programme plan. The connection will enable the ability to replicate storage data between Lincoln and Boston between the Storage Area Network environments as part of the NSX project and work to form a single logical data centre.
