1562 Provision of a Medicines Optimisation Drug-Non Drug Costing Tool

AGCSU is committed to providing a value for money Medicines Optimisation service to our customers. It is recognised that savings arising from clinical interventions and subsequent reductions in hospital admissions, are often not quantified in a reliable way. Therefore, the Medicines Optimisation team wish to ensure that there is an appropriate mechanism in place for calculating savings from interventions made.

We are now seeking to procure an academic provider to work with the Medicines Optimisation Team to develop a scoring Medicines Optimisation Intervention accredited costing tool.

The term of the contract is an initial 12 months with an option to extend for a further 12 month period.
