This procurement is required to refurbish the existing park outdoor gym asset in GMH provided by the council to residents, and because it is part of delivering a Council Plan target to improve park physical activity opportunities, which includes renovating outdoor gyms across the borough.
This project is a refurbishment of a modest outdoor gym venue in the park that, due to the location, has limited scope for extension or development. Therefore, a straightforward like for like updating of gym equipment is the broad scope of the contract.
It is hoped that the project can be finished this Autumn 2022.
