0.5.The university has a requirement for 9No. Parasols to be permanently located at 3 different location on the main campus to assist with social distancing. The parasols are to meet the following minimum criteria:
5x5m square parasols with powder coated frame. Colours of frame TBC. Removable crank handle, Rigid valance with University of Leeds branding, rain gutters between parasols. Fabric to be UV treated, heat reflective , fire resistant with a cover for when not in use. Colour TBC. The parasol is to withstand storm force 12 and be supplied with a 10 a ten-year warranty. The winning tenderer is to propose suitable holding down solutions for each location for the university to consider.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
