Mechanical, Electrical and Networking Works for NHS Arden and GEM CSU

NHS Arden & GEM CSU intends to select a supplier or suppliers for the Provision of Mechanical, Electrical and Network Works in the area of Essex covered by Mid & South Health and Care Partnership.

The successful supplier/s will be expected to undertake networking and associated tasks across a number of sites including some or all but not limited to:

• Surveying of sites to identify opportunities for improvement

• Provide individual SOWs and quotations for each site.

• Procurement and Installation of IT communications cabinets

• Procurement and Installation of shelves within communications cabinets

• Installation of uninterruptable power supplies (UPS) provided by CSU

• Procurement and Installation of PDUs within communications cabinets

• Installation of pre-configured Firewall provided by CSU

• Communication with HSCN provider at time of firewall installation

• Installation of pre-configured switches provided by CSU

• Reorganisation of existing devices in data cabinets

• Reorganisation and replacement of existing patch cables in data cabinets

• Removal of redundant equipment to safe storage within the site

• Provide the Authority with details of redundant equipment ready for collection

• All electrical works related to communications cabinet

• Other associated activities related to network cabling within communications cabinet or as determined by the Authority.

Please note that we seek to award a place on an overarching framework agreement to a maximum of 3 Suppliers for a maximum period of 6 months. Individual call off contracts will be awarded in line with the published process set out within the Service Specification
