The OPA operate and maintain the F76 diesel pipeline that runs from Garelochhead OFD through HMNB Clyde and supplies the naval jetty berths. After a detailed API 570 pipeline inspection, remedial works where identified and categorised by criticality. The three category's where CRITICAL, MEDIUM, and MINOR.
This document relates to work required on all the remaining MEDIUM remedial works. These are necessary for the pipeline system to remain in-service without undue risk.
Only bidders that have the mandatory full Security Clearance to work on HMNB Clyde.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
