Direct award of the contract for the provision of the NHS Complaints Advocacy Service to The Carers Federation Ltd. The service is currently delivered by The Carers Federation, under a consortium agreement with Gateshead Council as lead commissioner. 1 April 2022 Gateshead no longer wish to lead the consortium and therefore Darlington will directly award the contract to The Carers Federation Ltd. There will not be any changes to the service which is commissioned.
