In partnership with the Environment Agency, Redditch Borough Council is commissioning a contractor to remove Abbeydale Weir from the River Arrow. The weir is located on the Arrow at grid reference SP 05403 68118, see included location plan (ref P2190.48.5.1)The primary aim of this work is to break up and remove the weir structure as a barrier to fish passage and as an interruption to the Rivers natural morphology.
