P2 Genomic Sequencing Resilience Capacity is required to provide assurance to the Genomics Programme, to ensure efficient monitoring of variant spread, reinfections, evolution of new variants in the country and importation of variants through travel. This can also act as a resilience capacity over the winter preparation if required.
