West Essex CCG conducted an Invitation to Quote (ITQ) process during July 2020 to appoint a capable provider to deliver its implementation of the Doctorlink E-Consultation tool within all GP Practices across West Essex.
The Doctorlink tool offers an online symptom assessment, workflow to book appointments and undertake administrative functions such as fit/sick notes, insurance requests etc. The tool also provides video consultation functionality.
In line with the CCGs Procurement Policy, the value of the service required the CCG to invite a minimum of 4 providers to submit written quotes to deliver the service. This process has concluded and the contract has been awarded to MiCO Consultancy.
