The Council currently uses MapInfo as its main GIS (Geographic Information System). This is used for data capture, storage, presentation and analysis and modelling among other functions. The current licences are concurrent and the desktop installations are currently as mix of v12 and v17 as users progress with the migration. These licences are due to expire at the end of March 2020.
The Council wants to ensure that it can upgrade users to the latest versions of MapInfo as and when released.
