1. Upgrade of the existing internal communal fire escape route, including compartmentation, fire signage, doors, panelling and fire-stopping.
2. Replacement of the existing timber handrail to the internal staircase with a non-combustible alternative.
3. Upgrade or renewal of lift doors and hatch to lift motor room to give 60 minutes minimum fire compartmentation.
4. Survey, upgrade or replacement of the existing fire detection/activation system to Grade A: LD2 to all the common areas, linked to the existing smoke vent
5. Supply and installation of Grade D: LD3 mains-fed, heat detection, linked to 4 above, in the hallways of each flat.
