Independent well examination services for a deep geothermal well

Eden Geothermal requires specialist independent and impartial well examination services for the first deep geothermal well at the Eden Project, named EG-1, in 2 stages.

At the design stage (prior to drilling commencement), the Independent Well Examiner will:

-- review and assess the Basis of Design for the well, EGL's proposed drilling programme, and well drilling and testing documentation to ensure these are fit for purpose, compliant with HSE regulations and follow industry good practice;

-- produce a design stage well examination report/certificate for submission to HSE and project funders.

During the construction stage (drilling, well testing and completion) the Independent Well Examiner will:

-- check that operations are carried out safely and in accordance with the accepted design and programme;

-- produce a construction stage well examination report/certificate when operations are complete;

-- produce fortnightly update summaries for project funders.
