On behalf of SMP Alliance working with National Highways (Costain Ltd, Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Ltd, BMJV, Flour Ltd, Jacobs, WSP Ltd) we require accredited testing providers to be appointed into our SMP Alliance. The requirement covers all people, plant and equipment to carry out surface testing in the smart motorway environment.

To register your interest in these works your organisation must hold UKAS accreditation for one or both of the following -
Determination of surface macrotexture (to BS EN 13036-1) - Volumetric Patch Test (VPT)
Determination of skidding resistance by the Pendulum skid tester (to BS EN 13036-4) - PTV (or SRV)
