Social Economy Growth

The objective of this programme is to manage this grant to increase the business skills and confidence of the participants to enable them to build sustainable social enterprises (or trading arms of charities) capable of growth. The programmes are designed to enable growth in the social economy sector and their success will be measured through increases in participant business skills, trading revenue, volunteer support, confidence in taking on more social investment and securing more public/ private sector contracts.

To deliver this programme to participants, "Provider" organisations (i.e., the awarded suppliers) will be appointed through this tender who have demonstrated they have the necessary experience, skills and understanding in grant management, recruiting participants, maintaining peer networks and reporting data on KPIs in real time.

We are looking for multiple business support grant administrators to deliver this programme under different Lots, the Business Support providers need to demonstrate their ability to support trading Social Economy organisations in the West Midlands, who are at varying stages of development.

Government spending data: These suppliers have received £41,124,142 in 385 payments (over £25k) from Department for Education, DLUHC, Department of Health and Social Care, Greater London Authority, BEIS and 4 more public bodies (2016-12-08 to 2025-11-20).
