North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC) are utilising £1.8m of the Household Support Fund grant received from the DWP to provide support to vulnerable households with children through the provision of supermarket vouchers. Two payments of £125/payment will be made, with the first payment in early December 2021 and the second payment in early February 2022. NYCC has appointed a supplier to distribute the supermarket voucher support to approx. 8000 households during the period 1st December 2021 to 31st March 2022.
