Description

Data Architecture and Modelling Services

A number of urgent technologies patterns need to be elaborated from high level use cases into practical predefined modular solutions.
Elaboration will include identifying the key parameters that will drive the design and the appropriate components from a given technology stack.

Examples of technology patterns identified:

Pipeline Stream Processing Pattern

Can be any stream data including video, music etc, but typically at Defra is a stream of data collected by sensors (e.g., water levels in rivers, rainfall, air pollutants)

Pipeline ETL Pattern

This is the typical vehicle for transporting data to a reporting repository such as a warehouse

Skills required include, but are not limited to, Enterprise Data Modelling, Technology Solution Architecture, Advanced Data Analytics, Data Migration & Knowledge of Microsoft and Open-Source technology stacks.
