Market Engagement Event - Single Homeless & Rough Sleeper Multiply Excluded Complex Needs PI/TI (Psychologically and Trauma Informed) Project

Hackney Council's Adult Commissioning Team will be going to market later this year for an accommodation based service that will deliver support to homeless single adults with complex needs. Clients will have a history of rough sleeping and have failed to engage with 'traditional' hostel provision. Typically, this cohort will have been excluded from multiple services and will have experienced entrenched rough sleeping/long term homelessness, interspersed with periods in hospital, prison, and hostels. Engagement with services is usually sporadic and traditional homeless hostel provision fails to meet their needs.

We expect the contract to start in early 2021.

The service will be commissioned to deliver an accommodation based complex needs service providing support to single homeless adults who are known to have a history of complex needs, including substance misuse, personality disorders and mental health problems.

This is not a Housing First service. We are interested in organisations who can operate as support providers and have access to suitable properties;
