The Authority requires a Supplier to ensure reports undertaken by His Majesty's Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate are seen as professionally presented as well as being factually correct and robust when subject to scrutiny. His Majesty's Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCPSI) inspects the work carried out by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and other prosecuting agencies. We are independent from these organisations with completely separate funding. Our independence from government and the agencies we inspect enables us to identify weaknesses. His Majesty's Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCPSI) is a small organisation that publishes 8â10 reports a year.
