An action from a South West Cancer Improvement event was to provide a programme of administrative support training to include Oncology Terminology training.
We are keen to invest in and support the development of administration teams working in cancer to ensure they have high quality training to support and enhance the delivery of their role working in clinical teams, and directly with patients and to support competency and confidence.
The purpose of the training is to gain a better understanding on oncology, terminology, treatments and improved confidence speaking about the details with patients and clinical teams.
The commencement date will be 1 September 2021 through to 31 March 2023.
