The purpose of this tender is to put in place a Framework Agreement for the supply of Balanced Salt Solution for use in Ophthalmic Surgery to the participating Trusts.
The contract will be for:

⢠Balanced Salt Solution in eye drop form
⢠Balanced Salt Solution irrigation solution

This is a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the EMPC and the Supplier (s) agreement.
The current annual value with the EMPC members is £22,000 per annum
The estimated contract value is in the region of £200,000 (for the 4 year Framework period), depending on Contract take up by the Trusts listed above
