BCP Council are seeking an experience contractor to refurbish heritage lamp columns sited adjacent to Shore Road Poole. The columns are cast iron, the existing paint coating is deteriorating, and the columns require repairs. The columns are Victorian and are date stamped 1895.\\r\r

The estimated value of the initial phase of works is thirty five thousand pounds. The whole contract including any possible extensions is estimated at one hundred and twenty thousand pounds, subject to the Council securing the necessary funding. \\r\r
Issue of works beyond the initial phase will be on a call off basis subject to availability of budget. There is no guarantee of any future works beyond the initial phase.\\r\r

It is anticipated the contract will start on the 01 September 2023. The contract will be for five years ending ion the 31 August 2028.
