Selected Merton parades (including shopfronts) are to be refurbished to a very high standard in terms of shopfront replacement, scaffolding, pointing, decorating, brickwork paint removal and variety of general repairs where necessary.
The first planned refurbishment project (and only guaranteed works in next 12 months) is located on Haydons Road (319-333 and 341-347), Wimbledon SW19 with an estimated start date of 1 August 2021.
The work includes brickwork cleaning, repointing, new fascias, sign-writing, awnings, with up to 12 shopfront replacements
