This week-long fieldtrip requires accommodation for c. 200 students and 10 staff. To the best of our knowledge, Blencathra Field Study Centre (FSC) is the only provider of accommodation for "educational groups" that can meet this requirement in the Lake District whilst also providing:
⢠quick and easy access in all weather conditions to the diverse range of sites that are used for teaching during the fieldtrip;
⢠a safe and secure environment in which student well-being can be ensured 24 hours a day;
⢠the range of teaching rooms (nine) needed to deliver the fieldtrip and associated learning outcomes.
