External Works Programme

Gentoo Group are currently seeking to procure a Framework of Contractors to deliver its External works from April 2022 until March 2026.

Gentoo are seeking to procure approximately 4 Providers, however, it is envisaged that the number one ranked Provider from this Tender will be awarded all works and Gentoo Group will only seek to utilise the other Providers on the Framework in the event of poor performance from the initial Provider.

The works include an array of external works to dwellings, the majority of which are as below:

• Reroofing works;
• Varying works to chimneys;
• Remediation to external walls (repointing/wall tie replacements);
• External decoration; and
• Roof strengthening and alignment.

Other works may also be required to be delivered, all of which will be carried out externally to dwellings and estates.

The budget for the 4-year Framework is approximately £16million including VAT.

Gentoo hope to issue this Tender enquiry on or around 1 October 2021 and a minimum of 31 days will be provided to allow Providers to submit their Tender returns.
