Door Replacement Programme; 2024 - 2026

Gentoo Group are currently seeking expressions of interest from Contractors who can deliver full door replacement and door entry solutions to low-rise blocks.

The Group has approximately 70 blocks which require the following works:

• The replacement of entrance/exit doors in aluminium (we may seek an alternative for composite doors for selected blocks)
• The replacement of all intercom systems within the blocks, including the replacement of handsets within dwellings, the upgrading of existing cabling where necessary and the replacement of the door entry system to the entrance/exit door of the blocks.

Ideally, Gentoo are seeking a Contractor who can design, supply and install the doors and entry systems at the same time.

All blocks are located throughout the boundaries of Sunderland, Houghton, Hetton and Washington - Tyne and Wear. Works will be expected to commence around August 2024 and will run for a projected duration of 2 years.

This project is only in the concept stage currently, and Gentoo are only seeking expressions of interest from Contractors who are in a position to deliver all of the works as described above.
