Delivery of the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Service (AAA) to the eligible male population of Greater Manchester and East Cheshire. The service invites men in these localities to be screened during their 65th year. A Single Tender Action has been enacted for, as a result of extreme urgency following COVID-19 pressures. If only 1 or no providers are responsive, evidence will be provided to ensure all barriers and issues to the market have been addressed before undertaking any further considerations around evidence and risks towards a potential direct award. Alternatively, a procurement process via the Light Touch Regime will be conducted if deemed appropriate.
