CPCA - ONE CAM Design Concept

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) is seeking to run a market engagement event to engage with the market to promote and explain this exciting project along with creating an opportunity for suppliers, academics and research organisations to partner and create a conceptual design for the delivery of a new and futuristic transit system.

Following this event we are seeking to engage multiple suppliers or consortia to concurrently and independently develop and refine their ideas for a creative and holistic/ integrated Conceptual Designs for how a Cambridgeshire Autonomous Metro (CAM) could be delivered.

Each appointed supplier/ consortia would be paid on a time and materials basis to develop their ideas inline with an agreed programme (approx 3 months) up to a point by which these could be presented to and reviewed by the project team and local community.

There is also an ambition that, should one of the conceptual design be adopted for the ongoing development of the scheme, that that supplier or consortia may be asked to continue to engage on the project in an advisory capacity using the time and material rates within their contract.
