Evaluation of the launch of the National Education and Training Survey (NETS)

The National Education and Training Survey (NETS) has been developed by Health Education England (HEE), with the help of an academic partner, to support its 2016-2020 Quality Strategy. The NETS is aimed at all healthcare learners, including postgraduate medical trainees and learners from other healthcare professions. It comprises a series of questions, aligned to HEE's multi-professional standards for education and training as set out in the HEE Quality Framework https://hee.nhs.uk/our-work/quality . The survey is on-line and hosted on JISC's Online Surveys platform (the platform of choice for HEE).

NETS was launched during November 2018 and will be circulated to approximately 80,000 learners, including junior doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals, who are on clinical placement between the 12th and 30th November, with the survey closing on 14th December 2018. HEE would like to commission an independent partner to undertake an evaluation of the launch of the NETS.
